Prevention of plagiarism

Theplagiarism.com helps you to nip plagiarism in the bud. You must not allow the habit of plagiarising essays to grow as it would cause you an enormous amount of trouble when you are caught by anyone. The techniques you must follow to counter plagiarism are:

Try to know the bare facts of plagiarism

Once people get more information and become further educated about plagiarism they themselves prevent themselves from plagiarism and stay away from it. Initially it may seem very tempting to cross the line, be it involuntarily due to large workload or voluntarily due to laziness and quick submission of work. But once you get into the knack of it you tend to become complacent and that is where you try to push your luck and get caught. Before landing into such a situation you must curb yourself from getting habituated to plagiarism.

Plagiarism is bad for your character development

Plagiarism is an activity that is synonymous to cheating, fraudulence and embezzlement. It is like you are trying to get work done in the simplest of ways and actually not even moving a muscle of your own. This way of working will do no good to you and on the other hand it will make you lazy, indolent and you would develop the habit of postponing things. You will never strive to your 100% as you would be largely dependent on cheating. Also your image will be degraded in your own eyes as you yourself would know that you have not done what you were supposed to do. Also you would be tried in court for forgery and would have to pay a hefty fine to the authority whose work you have copied. It would be tension and troubles for you all the way. You may need a lawyer to defend yourself in court and this in turn would also be very expensive. Do you want to get into such a mess? I am sure no one would want to with such a blooming career in front of him. Thus it is important for you to write your own essays and never fall into the trap of plagiarism.

How to prevent plagiarism in schools

If you are a school or college teacher then you must impart the knowledge to your students that plagiarism will be a parasite to their character. Apart from bookish knowledge you must take measures that would steer your students away from copying and plagiarism. You must assign the students must be assigned to give updates of their information so that they are not able just copy the work in the end and present it. They can also be asked the reason for choosing their topic and the methodology they plan to adopt while gathering the information of their term paper and jotting it down in the form of a term paper or research paper. You can also ask for a bibliography and take an oral examination along with the conclusion of the essay. This would help you catch the students who have copied essays.

Other important measures that authoritative figures like teachers and professors can take are every student to list their sources of reference and you can compare the sources of various students so that there is no chance for the emergence of plagiarism. And also you will be able to compare their work with the original sources. Thus students would be diverted away from plagiarism since childhood itself and would never try to copy anything from the internet without making a whole hearted effort themselves.
